Application: DIC (Digital Image Correlation)
The system principle of DIC (Digital Image Correlation) is based on Triangulation and Photogrammetry. It enables to analyze 3D surface coordinate from the distance and angle between 2 cameras. And the strain of the entire surface can be measured from capturing random patterns applied to the object. Three-dimensional coordinates of the material surface, displacement and velocity in three-dimensional space, maximum/minimum strain and strain rate can be calculated from images taken with a high-speed camera and DIC analysis software.
