Application: Fluid Dynamics
PIV (Particle Image Velocimetry) is the fluid measurement method that enables non-contact determination of velocity and direction in a two-dimensional plane using particle images of tracer particles mixed in the fluid. And method of Schlieren imaging which visualises the phenomena of density differences caused by temperature and pressure changes, etc and this optical system can be analyzed and observed flow in air. High-speed cameras are used in many situations of fluid dynamics, such as flow analysis in wind tunnel tests, combustion field flow analysis, spray propagation measurements and visualisation of shock waves.
